A short guide covering exactly what ThermoExpress checks, how your account history is checked, how long the review usually takes, and what we expect once you are driving with us. Reading this first means no surprises during the application.
Everything is checked automatically, in this order, before you can submit the form itself.
Your Discord sign-in creates the account behind the whole application, and later your Driver Hub access. There is no separate registration.
We check your public SteamID and confirm at least 200 hours in Euro Truck Simulator 2. Your Steam game details must be set to public so this can be verified. You can also use the linked Steam account to sign in later.
There is no player ID to enter. We read the public ban record of the Steam account you just linked — it works the same whether you drive in singleplayer, SCS Convoy or on a multiplayer server.
A handful of questions about your availability and experience — Human Resources reads every answer individually, this is not an automatic pass/fail test.
The account check looks at the public record of your linked Steam account: VAC bans, game bans issued by developers, and Steam Community or trade restrictions. None of this blocks your application on its own.
Your application is still submitted normally. You will additionally be asked to sign in to a separate, temporary Reflection portal, upload at least three current photos of the truck you drive, and answer three short questions about what changed since then. Human Resources reads this alongside your application — it is context for a fair decision, not an automatic rejection.
If this applies to you, Human Resources shares the reflection portal link and a temporary username and password once they have looked at your application. Older ban history is only shown to Human Resources as context.
Your application reaches a private review queue immediately. Only you and Human Resources can see it.
Human Resources reads every application individually. Response time can vary slightly with volume, but 24 hours is the normal expectation.
Some applications move to a short interview stage first. Either way, you get a clear decision and, if relevant, a note explaining it.
Accepted drivers get the Driver role immediately, with Driver Hub and tracker access ready to go.
As soon as you sign in with Discord, you get a personal application reference (APP-XXXXXXXX). It works like a password for the application status page — whoever has it can see your status and chat as you in the applicant lobby. Never share it, the same way you would never share a login password.
Read the full driver handbook — it covers the tracker client, the Driver Hub, and the one rule every driver needs to know before their first job.

There is no mandatory monthly distance target. Steady, considerate driving matters far more than chasing a number.
Your tracker token, fuel card and any portal credentials are yours alone — never shared, even with other drivers.
None of this needs to be memorised before applying — it is explained in full, with examples, in the driver handbook once you are in.
Discord sign-in, a quick Steam check, and a short form — no player ID needed.
